My name is Brandon Floyd

I joined the mortgage industry following a 25-year career in the US Navy, where I served as a Navy pilot and retired as a Captain in 2020. When I retired, I took advantage of the opportunity to put my educational background in business and finance to work as a mortgage loan officer. I soon realized that I had fallen into something that I truly enjoy and have a passion for! Over the last three years I have facilitated over $46 million in purchase and refinance transactions in three states.

My experiences in the Navy instilled in me traits I feel are essential to mortgage lending: professionalism, teamwork, attention to detail, communication skills, and problem solving. A mortgage is so much more than just a financial transaction! Loan officers and clients form a relationship that is quite close...you trust us with your most sensitive information, so you should be able to rest assured that I am competent and dedicated to the customer service you expect and deserve. Along these lines, I feel that building relationships is key. Every client has a unique situation, which in turn means they also require a unique solution.

Anyone can provide you with a home loan, but my goal is to educate you along the way. There are countless details that go into a mortgage, and I want to ensure you are comfortable when signing the closing documents. It’s easy to get lost in the terms and confusing language...points, Annual Percentage rate (APR), disclosures, etc. So often borrowers buy a home and have no idea of what they just signed, or what it cost to get the loan! I want you to understand what each line item on the closing document is, and WHY. I have done my job correctly if you walk away from the closing table happy and having understood everything that went into your loan.

While we offer a wide variety of lending options, I truly enjoy working with veterans and first-time home buyers. As a veteran, I understand the challenges facing active-duty members when they are purchasing a home. I have been through the same trials and tribulations, and I know all the acronyms: PCS, LES, BAH, Per Diem, House Hunting, etc. Additionally, I have a passion for working with anyone in the purchase of their first home, whether they are 25 or 65! Looking back, there are so many things that I wish I had known as we purchased our homes over the years. My goal is to arm you with the knowledge that will make you smarter consumers and ensure you understand what goes into the “bottom line.” And this aligns with another passion - I am a huge proponent of wealth generation through investment in real estate! Through education, my goal is to help you make sound financial decisions AND realize the value of investing through real estate. I feel extremely blessed to be part of this industry. As a young naval officer, I did not get the education from my loan officers to help in decision making. I signed the papers and assumed (hoped) that I had received a good deal. You won’t have that experience with me and Premier Home Loans. My sincere goal is to be “Your Guy” for life. At every closing, I tell my clients that we have just embarked on a 30-year relationship!

What else about me? I am a native of Taos, NM and currently reside in Castle Pines, CO with my wife and three children. I love to spend my free time outdoors in my adopted state golfing, mountain biking, and skiing. I hope to hear from you soon.
